This album contains a selection of the best songs by 4 bands which performed on Max Tovstyi’s birthday concert.
It started with Max Tovstyi’s Blues Band. this rocking power trio jammed over blues and rock songs written by their idols. Then the stage was ready for Reprise. A 5-piece band that debuted live playing originals and a pair of covers with brass arrangements. The third band was The Heavy Crawls and they proved to be an experienced trio that performed songs from all of the bands’ four albums finishing the set with almost 15 minutes jam including a drum solo by Tobi Samuel. The last band of the night was Lucifer Rising where Max switched to the drums. It was the group’s first gig since 2016. They presented a new song and played few old ones. The concert was recorded in a crowded soldout venue on multitrack equipment. It was mixed and mastered in
BrokenBricks studios by Max himself. We are happy to share this recording with you!
